My only jersey is Canada's, so I'm biased about who I want. However I love the idea of Hiedeman on the team. I've thought about Mabrey, but Hiedeman is still young and could really grow well in the Storm system.
Edit: Ha ha. I just realized that Mabrey is also young. I don't know why I keep thinking she's been in the league longer than she has.
Hi Diane, I just sent you a direct e-mail that should include the instructions on how to make the change so you can save money. Thanks for your support!
Nope, we've had this convo. Jewel Loyd will be the new starting PG. Sue taught her while Stewie watched and helped facilitate it. Bring back Alysha Clark and put Ezi in the 5 and Seattle will be back in the playoffs.
I have a hard time believing Jewell Loyd is going to take over the primary point guard role. I don't think it's completely out of the question but Jewell is a player that needs the ball in her hands to score, not to distribute the ball. If Jewell is bringing up the ball, she's not able to run around and run off screens to get open for shots. As the primary point guard, her responsibility would be to get all of her teammates the ball for them to score.
With that said, while Sue is a more traditional pass-first point guard, there are definitely examples of scoring point guards. We saw that a lot in Seattle with the Sonics and Gary Payton. You see that now with the Golden State Warriors and Steph Curry. In the WNBA, Skylar Diggins-Smith is one of the league's best point guards who is also an incredible scorer. But overall, I'll be surprised if Loyd takes over that role.
Either way, the Storm are going to need to add a lot of guards to their roster. They currently don't have any point guards with Sue and Briann January retiring. We also don't know if Epiphanny Prince is retiring or if they would want to bring her back after her production has dropped off. If Jewell stays a Shooting Guard, they still need to add two point guards and a backup shooting guard. If Jewell moves to the point guard, they will need to find a starting shooting guard and backup PG and SG.

Hey Jeff, great info. This sure is the topic of the moment. I want to renew my subscription before February 1, but can't see how to do that. Thanks!
