And not to mention Jackie was a number 1 draft pick. To get this from a 9th pick rookie with a bad shoulder, next year Jordan should be fabulous

Absolutely! And I think it's always important to look back at some of these players in their rookie seasons. Jackie Young being a great example. To where she is at right now is after 5 full seasons in the WNBA with time to develop and grow. I'm looking forward to covering Jordan's 2nd season to see where she can go from here!

Thanks for always providing perspective because for always, Jordans expectations have been more than people ask from others. All the way back in high school, she was the youngest with more expectations. She tried to rise to the occasion and when she don’t meet, people forget she is new or young with great expectations.

High school she was the first freshman to play varsity on her team and win three state titles. Next she was pushed to be the pg at Tennesse as a freshman then moved around but still is the only true guard with 21 double doubles, two gold medals, mvp of McDonald’s games mvp of Fiba games and she never played in one true position. She is always learning on the job.

I'd love nothing more than for her to be left alone to focus on playing the 3 next season. She just seems born to be a wing...

But they use her for defense and it’s needed too. Well rookie season is pretty much done and she will get her shoulder rehab and see what they need for next season.

I know better than to argue with mother! I love her defense and she has by far the best overall set of defensive skills on the team. I wish they could clone a few more of her. BTW, I was stunned she was

available at #9 and thrilled when the Storm drafted her.

As her mother, i watched her successfully play every position. At usa basketball she played the 4 and won mvp of the tournament...
